2013 Class Schedule

Camellia ‘April Kiss” still in full bloom 12/12/12

Hi Everyone,

I am very happy to announce that the 2013 Gardening Class Schedule is now on my website. From the main menu, under “Gardening Courses” you will find all the details including pricing, frequently asked questions (FAQs) and the schedule.  There are still 8 courses but I have added a BONUS course on “Preserving the Harvest” (tomatoes, basil & jam for sure) and tours to a few private local gardens and special nurseries.

All 2013 classes will be offered as ONE college-level program. The actual cost per class is significantly reduced, and the price is reduced even more for those who attended last year. My goal is to have you here for every class!  Please don’t hesitate to call if you have questions – I would love to hear from you.

I have to share a few student comments from last year.  (Many thanks to you who made my day!)

“ You’re gonna love Ellen’s classes. My first experience was just a fluke, but I cannot tell you how satisfying it has been to garden after benefiting from the information she shares. For me, her classes have also been great fun !!! Everyone in my neighborhood has heard me talk about Ellen’s classes this year. I can hardly wait to see next year’s gardens at my home after all I’ve learned . . . and I feel that I’ve just begun.” 10/27/12

“It was a pleasure meeting you today. I woke up at 4:30 am & can’t sleep just thinking about my class with you today. I am very excited about all the new information buzzing around in my head.   Your beautiful landscapes and gardens were so inspiring. My yard is basically a blank slate in comparison to your lush spread.”  10/14/12

“The pictures of the different arrangements are inspiring. Ellen, you are so right about the Henry Eyler’s Rudebeckia being a great addition to our gardens. It photographs very well. Would have never known about this great flower had it not been for your class. Have always been a big fan of Martha Stewart but she has NOTHING on you!  8/10/2012

“Thank you for a great class and for the beautiful bouquets!  Our house looks stunning and I can’t wait to show Bill what we learned today.  Thanks again for a super class. You make it so much fun. I can’t wait to try out some of my weirdo vases.”  8/2012

Just a reminder – You may purchase gift certificates in any amount which can be used toward class tuition (Put this on your Christmas wish list!), fresh flower arrangements, and handcrafted photographic greeting cards.  Pictures of the greeting card collections can be viewed at the very end of the FAQs.  I have had an overwhelming response, but there are still about a dozen packages left for sale.

Merry Christmas!  Happy Holidays!  Happy New Year!  Peace & Joy.   Fa La-La La-La La-La!!

Ellen
