It’s hard to believe that Black Friday is almost upon us. Are you looking for gifts that have universal appeal? How about a package of beautifully handmade, full color, greeting cards? I keep a stash of cards in my desk for when I need to send a “Thank you”, “Get Well”, “Sympathy”, or “Thinking of You” message. It is hard to find really nice ones so I made my own. If you like the photos on my website, you may also like the All-Occasion Greeting Cards I am packaging just in time for holiday gift-giving.
The cards are on heavy 5” x 7” cardstock with an elegant deckled edge. The crisp glossy photo has a description of the subject hand-scripted below (eg, Helenium ‘Mardi Gras’, to show your friends what a horticulturalist you have become!) You can choose from 5 different collections. The beach collection should bring happy memories. Each collection will have 12 cards tied in a shimmery Organza bag. At a price of $22 you can afford to make them your “every day” cards. (Comparable cards are typically sold individually for $3 – $5.)
Here are the card collections to choose from, subject to availability. Click on the PDF documents below to view the photo collection.
Also available are Garden Happy! Gift Certificates which can be given in any amount, and may be used to purchase gardening classes, plants, flower arrangements (and cards if available). Gift certificates will come enclosed in a photo card with all the details. The first class on Soils and Pruning ($40) will be a prerequisite for all students, and I will be teaching it on multiple dates starting in February. The 2013 schedule will be on my website by the end of December.
More News: I am having surgery on my right hand tomorrow. With my left hand, typing will be pathetic (not to mention my hair) so email replies will be limited – but I can pick up the phone. Please CALL ME at home 336-644-6072 if you would like to pick up cards. I would love to see you!
The Very Best Wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving,
